Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- We work in various private and public institutional settings.
Duties: Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and minor housework; give the social and useful company, monitoring, care, and preservation; and report changes in patient’s behavior to assigned supervisor or client.
Minimum Requirements
- Holder of a PSW certification from the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) or the National Association of Certified Personal Support Workers (NACPSW).
- Has at least one year of clinical experience relevant to the job role
- Has Canadian criminal record clearance
- Has received medical clearance
- Has completed CPR for Health Care Providers training (HCP)
Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)
- Ontario’s hospitals and other healthcare facilities
- Provide direct nursing care and treatments to patients; engage with the allied health team to plan, implement, supervise, and analyze care delivery in collaboration with patients and their families.
Minimum Requirements
- Currently holds a CNO Certificate of Competence for Registered Practical Nurse.
- Health Care Provider CPR certificate recipient (HCP)
- Has Canadian criminal record clearance
- Has good verbal and writing English skills
- Has received medical clearance
- Dedicated to pursuing chances for continued education
Registered Nurses (RN)
- Ontario’s hospitals and other healthcare facilities
- Provide direct nursing care and deliver treatments to patients, as well as cooperate with the allied health team to plan, execute, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in conjunction with patients and their families.
Minimum Requirements
Holder of current Certificate of Competence for.
Registered Nurse from the CNO
Recipient of CPR certificate for Health Care Provider (HCP).
Has effective verbal and written skills in the English language
Has Canadian criminal record clearances medical clearance
Committed to pursuing continuing education opportunities
Critical/Intensive Care Units (in addition to the above qualifications)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate holder
- Completed Critical Care course/s
- A minimum solid year of clinical experience in an area of specialty
Emergency Departments (in addition to the above qualifications)
- No less than 1 year (or equivalent hours) of medical/surgical nursing experience
- Completed a minimum of one year of experience in the emergency department or critical and intensive care units
- Holder of ACLS and/or Advanced Trauma Life Support Certificate
Maternal and Child Units (in addition to the above qualifications)
- Minimum 1 year (or equivalent hours) of pediatric and/or obstetric nursing experience, and/or has taken courses related to maternal and child care
Mental Health Unit (in addition to the above qualifications)
- No less than 1 year (or equivalent hours) of mental health nursing experience and/or has taken courses related to mental health
